Electrocautery

Electrocautery is a medical procedure that uses high-frequency electrical currents to produce heat and cauterize tissues. It is commonly used in surgical procedures to control bleeding, remove abnormal tissue growths, or seal blood vessels.

Electrocautery is often used in combination with other surgical techniques, such as scissors or scalpels, to achieve the desired surgical outcome. The procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia.

The benefits of electrocautery include its ability to control bleeding and produce precise, clean cuts in the tissue.
